Class
A: Solid Steel Expanding Sleeve
Offers
maximum accuracy. Our standard tolerance is .0002" T.I.R.
(T.I.R. to .000030" upon request). There are no dirt-collecting
slots to cause inaccuracies between part and arbor. Normal
expansion of a 1" arbor is .005" with an additional .002"
per added inch of diameter.

Class
B: Split Steel Expanding Sleeve
Requires
lower pressure, easier actuation and greater expansion with
virtually the same precision. Normal expansion of a 1" arbor
is .010" with an additional .004" per added inch of diameter.

Class
C: Conform-A-Chuck or Arbor
For
thin-walled parts--or parts requiring maximum expansion. Conform-A-Chuck's
unique part-holding concept brings an entirely new capability
to the machining of out-of-round parts without squeezing them
round. Expansion up to .125" depending on size.
